Bayern Munich qualified for the quarter-finals of the German Cup with a 2-1 win over Borussia Dortmund in Wednesday's Bundesliga.

Jerome Boateng opened the scoring for the Bavarian giants in the 12th minute, and by the end of the first half with a five-point lead, Thomas Muller could double the score.

In the second half, Dortmund pressed hard to reduce the score in the 77th minute, when Andrey Yarmolenko managed to score the first goal. Dortmund then tried to adjust the score but to no avail.
